This is a 1 session class geared toward families who have had a previous unmediated birth, first-time out-of-hospital families, or families who have taken a comprehensive childbirth preparation class elsewhere (with midwife approval). We focus on what birth in a birth center looks like, comfort measures, and what to expect in the event of a transfer. Both client and birth partner must attend. Payment for the class is due at the time of registration. We would prefer you to attend your classes no earlier than 28 weeks, and be completed no later than 36 weeks. Please find childcare for any younger children.
