What makes Colorado home to you?
The beautiful weather, blended neighborhoods and constant growth make Colorado home. I love being able to experience the seasons change, enjoy the proximity of the mountains but being able to still be in the city.
What are your passions outside of work?
I love spending time with my daughter and partner. We use any occasion as an excuse to travel and explore different cultures.
Why did you become an Midwife?
I became a midwife to provide women with a resource to learn more about their health and be able to share accurate information with their daughters, nieces, etc. and break the cycle that currently teaches women not to trust their instincts. Having access to reliable, accurate information is half the battle when it comes to addressing the health crisis of our nation.
What in your career are you most proud?
I am most proud of knowing that my patients feel heard, informed and supported. I am passionate about informed consent and providing people with options for their care that will work according to their life.
What is the most important part of your job?
The most important part of my job is allowing patients to be active members of their care and being personable. I believe this gives patients an opportunity to identify areas they need more or less support and makes my job more effective by focusing my education on what is most important to them.
Are you accepting new patients?
