Meet Aubre
Biography
Hello All. My name is Aubre and I am so excited to be sharing this journey with you.
My first nursing job, at a local hospital, gave me experience in Postpartum Care, Well Baby Care, the NICU, on both high risk and low risk Labor & Delivery and with Gynecological Care. It was a blessing to serve to people of my community in all these aspects of their lives. Also, I was blessed to be offered a RN job at a new local free-standing birth center, where I learned about physiologic birth and the power of the process for families. With this power in my heart, I applied to and was accepted into the Frontier Nursing University to begin my studies as a Midwife. After graduation, I was hired on as midwife at the same birth center, where I happily worked for two years as a midwife and then became the Clinical Director. As Clinical Director of this center for five years, I gained valuable experience in how to serve my community and grow a thriving midwifery practice. Recently, I have had the amazing opportunity to work with Women’s Health Group, to bring a new free-standing birth center to Thornton and the surrounding communities. Seasons Midwifery & Birth Center is this new center and I am proud to be working tirelessly with our fantastic team to “birth” it and see it grow.
As the Director of Midwifery at Seasons Midwifery & Birth Center, I look forward to helping you and your family on this wondrous odyssey of pregnancy, birth and beyond.
What makes Colorado home to you?
Spending time in our gorgeous outdoors is a great pleasure of mine and how I frequently “re-charge” my battery.
What are your passions outside of work?
When I am not working as a Midwife, I love to spend time with my family; my husband, our two adult sons and our daughter, as well as my parents who live here in CO as well. I also love to travel the country visiting natural hot springs.
Why did you become an Midwife?
I was blessed to receive midwifery care for my own first birth and fell in love with the care model. For me, this work is an honor and I feel blessed to serve the families of my community.
