Dana Defreece, RN, BSN, IBCLC

Biography

I fell in love with the special relationship between parents and their babies at the beginning of my nursing career over 25 years ago. Welcoming a new life, a new light, into the world is one of the most miraculous events we can ever experience; one that deserves the utmost respect and awe.

Empowered and supported parents are deeply connected to providing what is best for their babies and helping them gain the knowledge and skills to discover and enhance that connection means the world to me. How we nourish our body, mind and spirit lays the foundation for lifelong well-being. Breastfeeding is one part of that foundation.

Updated Clinic Visitor Policy

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in Colorado, we are no longer allowing visitors of any age for clinic appointments. We understand that this is an inconvenience and potential child care cost for our clients but the safety of our pregnant clients, newborns and health care providers is our top priority. Birth Center family/support is still allowed for those in labor. Please call for more information.
