Kayla Thorngate, RD, IBCLC

Biography

Hi, I’m Kayla! I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and mother of two. My passion lies in caring for clients as they become parents, teaching them how to nourish themselves and their families, supporting and empowering them throughout their breastfeeding journeys, and helping them find community at a time when life can feel so overwhelming. While life-giving, breastfeeding can be a challenging process, and even more so in isolation. I am honored to be working alongside Seasons Midwifery and Birth Center to serve new parents in the community through their Social Breastfeeding Group! When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying a latte at a craft coffee shop, immersing myself in nature (preferably in the mountains), or building memories with my family. For more information about my services including in-home lactation consultations for mothers and babies who need more individualized attention, please visit my website.

Updated Clinic Visitor Policy

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in Colorado, we are no longer allowing visitors of any age for clinic appointments. We understand that this is an inconvenience and potential child care cost for our clients but the safety of our pregnant clients, newborns and health care providers is our top priority. Birth Center family/support is still allowed for those in labor. Please call for more information.
