Welcome to your home away from home

About Us

We believe that pregnancy is a state of health, and birth is a process that works best when we let families take the lead. Our philosophy is that pregnancy, birth, and lactation are normal physiologic processes. As such, it is our job to support, educate, and nurture families through them.

Although community birth has had a resurgence in popularity over the last few decades, community-based birth is not a new concept, it is an ancestral practice and way of being that has been integrated in societies throughout all lifetimes.

Community birth for all.

Our Vision

  • Serve the families in our community through the provision of evidence- based, holistic maternity care.

  • Provide care that respects individual dignity and empowers clients and families to make positive health and lifestyle choices that impact well-being.

  • Honor and respect the individual decisions each family makes, throughout their lifespan, to promote both general and reproductive health.

  • Catalyze community and care to support birth justice for all!

We strive to serve the families in our community through the provision of evidence-based, holistic services across the full spectrum of reproductive and life cycles by providing care that respects individual dignity and shared decision-making. Our model will empower clients and families to make positive health and lifestyle choices that impact overall well-being. Our teams will honor and respect the individual decisions each family makes, throughout their lifespan, to promote both general and reproductive health.

A big win for community birth

In 2022, Seasons was at risk of closing. Our community rallied. We raised up our voices, loudly and we saved a necessary pillar for our community.

A community-birth center model emerged, alongside our partner Elephant Circle - and we’re proud to be owned, run and operated in community.
