This fun and interactive 3-week series is designed to help you dig deep and discover what you desire for your birth experience while giving you the confidence and tools to have the best birth possible. We discuss late pregnancy symptoms, signs of early labor, active labor coping skills, birth support skills for partners, pushing and postpartum preparation, and much more!

Lactation Basics
This is a 1 session class ideal for first-time parents, anyone who has not breastfed/chest-fed a baby before, if it has been 5 years or more since your last nursling weaned, or anyone who has had feeding issues in the past. We talk about the various aspects of feeding, how to establish a good latch, baby-led latch, positioning, how to tell if the baby is feeding well, and how to overcome challenges. The cost for this class is included in your personalized payment plan.
Early Discharge to Home
This is a 1 session class ideal for first-time parents, those who have only had previous birth in the hospital, anyone who has not had a baby in the last 5 years, or anyone unsure of how to care for yourself and your newborn for the first 24 hours of life at home. This class will help you to understand how to create the optimal postpartum environment for recovery and newborn adjustment. What to expect from your own physical and emotional healing during this time, and what to expect from your newborn as they learn to live outside the womb. The cost for this class is included in your personalized payment plan.
Birth Center/Refresher
This is a 1 session class geared toward families who have had a previous unmedicated birth, first-time out-of-hospital families, or families who have taken a comprehensive childbirth preparation class elsewhere (with midwife approval). We focus on what birth in a birth center looks like, comfort measures, and what to expect in the event of a transfer. The cost for this class is included in your personalized payment plan.
Midwife Recap Class
This 1 session class is held on Tuesday mornings at 9 am over Zoom. This class should be taken between 34-36 weeks of pregnancy and is intended as a review of your other classes. We will review important topics covered in those sessions answering any “last minute” questions you may have, reviewing consent forms, options, birth certificate questions, how to handle an emergency, and the Birth Center Rules. The cost of this class is covered by your concierge fee; no payment is required. Sign up at the front desk.
- Partners/Support person are REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL CLASSES WITH YOU
- We will sign you up for classes at the front desk during one of your visits before 28 weeks.
- All classes should be completed by your 36th week of pregnancy.

Join us for a Free event, open to everyone in the community. Lactation support for newborns to transition to solids. Hosted by IBCLC, weighted feeds are available.
